Law for Kids
LawForKids.org
is a public information website devoted to teaching kids about Law. LawForKids.org exposes kide to facts about the law that affect the decisions they make in their daily lives, answering their questions about the law and compiling links to Law-Related resources on the Internet.
Kids who are faced with decisions that might lead to breaking the law can look to www.lawforkids.org to see just what the law says about drugs, violence, property damage and a range of other subjects. Kids find a quick and easy way to learn about the law at LawForKids.org. This is because each page on LawForKids.org is written so that kids can understand the law as it relates to the tough decisions they face on a daily basis.
And, if kids still have a question about the law after browsing hundreds of pages which translate the law into easy terms, kids are able to Speak UP! and ask any question they want about the law directly from a form on the Web Site. Volunteer lawyers answer these questions daily, and all answers are posted on LawForKids.org for all to see.
Instructional materials are available to help teachers integrate LawForKids.org into LRE and classroom instruction. LawForKids.org also seeks members of the Arizona Bar to serve as volunteers and answer kids questions about the law.
